Student LunchBox combats college hunger in Los Angeles County, serving over 4,500 students monthly with food, toiletries, hygiene kits, clothing and other essential resources. Student LunchBox (SLB) is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to fighting food insecurity among college students. We participate in efforts to rescue and recover food and other essentials for economically disadvantaged college students to reduce the hardships of hunger and foster academic success.
By addressing the pivotal challenge of food and financial insecurity, SLB empowers students to achieve their academic goals, unlock their full potential, and successfully graduate from their academic journey.

Our expansive network spans several community colleges and universities throughout the region, a testament to our unwavering commitment to supporting students, irrespective of their place of study. With a unique program that extends a compassionate support to all learners, SLB is rapidly becoming one of LA's fastest-growing and most essential organizations, addressing the urgent demand for basic needs assistance within the academic community.
