Student LunchBox Volunteer Program — Community Engagement Across Los Angeles College Campuses
Student LunchBox’s volunteer program is a core component of our campus-based model. Volunteers work alongside student ambassadors and program staff to support weekly food distributions, mobile markets, and Essential Closet operations across our 17 partner campuses in Los Angeles County.

Our volunteer community includes students from partner campuses, individual community members, university staff, and corporate teams participating in organized days of service. Together, they form the operational backbone that allows Student LunchBox to bring free food and essential supplies directly to students each week.

All volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities?
Each Student LunchBox event serves over 200 students, and it's only possible with the help of dedicated volunteers like you. During our mobile distribution events, you will play a crucial role in organizing and executing a range of operations. These include receiving and sorting produce and groceries, setting up tents and tables, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and most importantly, serving students.
